This would make Rel very old... and while I hate to rain on fantastical stories such as these: it IS possible, even conceivable, that another druid existed once whose nickname, first/family name, or just Name was Rel. There have been recorded duplication of heroic names in the past. Not everything/everyone is truly original...nor did most beings get a start in Faerie. It has also been proven that those that dally too long with faeries, especially on their plane, can become fae-touched or even fae themselves. Doing follow-up research, there is a story that goes about 'The Wheel', and how Rel was spun out from his original place on it, split in twain (hence all the Ascerbus b.s.). More and more spells (not just cast by me, but others) confirm that Sir Rel Zhirah, the leader of Rua Tharr Cinn and now a Knight of the Crown, was indeed an old soul. Re-incarnated, or cycled, or whatever the term may be, he was The Druid to Queen Maeb. However, with other things calling for his attention, it does not seem that History will repeat itself for Queen Nimbus. - Sir Iawen Penn, KoEF | |
