...this page was actually quite touching... regardless, the 'extremely delicate situation' that is written in one of the poems I believe refers to Bedlam. There are some hard-lined opinions on it, but in the end Bedlam *was* opened and while some may have talked the King of Chimeron from not going himself, they rose no words nor blades to the others. While one can say this is a stain on Chimeron's honor for years to come, I agree and also state this: by allowing them to do so in the first place ropes us all in, too. I believe one cannot have an opinion on this so fervently if they were not actively on one side or the other, and therefore should not hold Chimeron (or anyone else, for that matter) accountable before soul-searching themselves. ...sorry, think I was channeling my late father on those last few points. - Sir Iawen Penn | |
