Tattoos

A Sheshawnii's tattoos signify everything they and their House stands for. The tattoos are given to an Of-Age Sheshawnii through a ceremonial rite of passage. After they have been given, they will stay for life. Each House's tattoos vary, and act as a secondary Coat-Of-Arms. It's also a way of differentiating one family from another.

The line across their face (often the bridge of the nose) symbolizes their family name. The line from bottom lip to chin signifies that they are pure-born Sheshawnii.
