This seemed to indicate that what was sent was a lost of property of sorts, perhaps a loss of something Pandross was trying to keep hidden. Perhaps the sender got through a protective shielding to get the message out. There are also indications of a hidden danger, as well as warning. So I believe that the sender is in danger, themselves, and does not realize that perhaps Pandross was LETTING them send this. So even though it was not an outright attack, it may have been monitored--and ultimately ALLOWED out.
“Are those who contacted me by my dream friends or enemies?”
This casting seemed to indicate that the send was going through a period of confusion, going through madness, despair and fear with what may be a false success for them. Perhaps incurring the wrath of Pandross. Ultimately, however, there’s a large indication of strength and reliability, trustworthiness. SO that ultimately, the send at least, will be an ally. However, I do not know about the REST of the Skinners. As my Vision indicates, they are tied directly to Pandross, and may be taking order from him now-- at least most of them. Those who have not rebelled as the send probably has.
And finally, for this around: “Did the enemy have any control over my dream?” (thinking of Pandross)
My runes trembled, lifted slightly into the air and then fell, all of them, in a chaotic mess on the floor. I believe this indicated that he did, though he does not want us to know it, and therefore block it. He has done this sort of thing before.
The first Vision: “Show me how the Skinner came to be.”
As my sight returned, I know that I was inside Pandross, or at least from his point of view. I have been shown it several time in the past, and it always sickened me to the core, even through a Protect the Sould. We are at a place of power, perhaps a nexus of power? This may sound odd but do the Centaurland have Dragon Lines as far as anyone knows? That’s what this place felt like to me…
I could feel that the timing of what we were about to do was critical, there was a horde of Centaurs, a MOB, coming to end our life. We need to do this now, we’ve already made many, not know which would suit us best. THey… were our way out. Once we selected a host from among them, we could destroy the others. There was nothing to these things, really. Nothing more than mismatched flesh and sinew stitched roughly onto the remnants of a shadow elemental, many times over.
I could feel us speak the words: “Oothul Granmore Ranlock Niashi!”
It was begun as the moon reached its apex in the sky, but we were too late. The soul we planned to use was dying before the ritual could be complete properly. We hurried the incantations and weaves to get it done so that at her lady dying breath, we would be reborn
Something hard and unyielding smashed into our temple, erupting in a fire of pain. We looked down. Though large, it was a simple stone. What incredulity! But then another and another and another smashed into us. We stagger to our knees, and begin to fall.
As the world is fading around us, we can see the contruct, all of them, start to stir with the power of the live of those who were sacrificed instead of our own. They live while our vision goes black and we die.
I slowly come back to myself and could not keep down the contents of my stomach.
Another Vision: “is Thestra under Pandross’ thrall?”
I could feel everything enclosing around me, much to close. And it was cold, very very cold, and I could hear someone weeping. An overwhelming feeling of hopelessness, emptiness and loneliness came over me.
To verify the result of the Vision. I cast another Fortune Tell: “Is the goddess rapped?” (Thinking of Thestra)
I got a sense of slavery, a lack of customary other that one is used to. An ending to one’s serves, blindness, hopelessness. So she is trapped… somewhere dark and enclosing. The casting seem to indicate a final liberation at the end, renewal and a promise of new beginnings.. It is uncertain whether this “end” is through help from outside (heroes of the Realms) or something that she is able to do on her own. I will cast more later in attempt to verify one way or the other.

Here Ye! Here Ye! Harmony has returned at Last! The bile threat of Pandross has ended!

Although the armies of Lyossa remain a threat to lasting peace, there is a glimmer of hope that has emerged in these dark times. A treaty has been sight to end the hostilities that have bought read suffering and fear are the hand of this most loathsome biped.
One MOst Honored Stallion King Drefor regret to announce that Pandross- the abomination who slaughtered mare and foals and defiled and southern territory and all who dwelled within- is stall at large, having breached his oath to step forward and face Judgment for all that atrocities we have suffered. All efforts to locate his whereabouts have turned up nothing.
Tarry little in this search and stay alert for a male biped with short cropped brown hair, stocky build, very pale skin, fearsome gaze, who bears the tattoo of a sword crossed by two arrows upon his left arm. If spotted, report it to your local Law Monger immediately. A reward is offered to those who provide information that help to his being brought to justice alive.

King Rules Again Bipeds

By order of the King, in light of the recent events, the Centaurian Droit Addendum has been reinstated. It states that centaurs have the right to press into service any biped they choose with or without their consent.
Effective immediately, all bipeds are hereby considered common property and are to be revoked of their rights, weapons and belonging. Those who refuse shall be imprisoned or exiled to the Mountain Rift. The Droit shall go into effect by the first of October. Human slaves will be required to show proof of ownership. Humans discovered lacking such evidence, could be subject to confiscation and resale as tradeable goods. All who wish to leave the Centaurlands before that time may do so without any repercussions.

Lyossa Spotted!

All resident are warn that Lyossa’s minion are in the Vicinity of Plynth, in the territory of Gress. Scouts still lurking in the area have said her force are 200-strong and all who can leave are strongly suggested to do so.
The King ordered the Centaur Militia and the King’s Guard to pull out of this area month ago and inhabitants who have stayed behind have felt the brunt of this decision. Fear is tangible there, knowing that if their defenses fail then they will soon join her ranks. Mare and foals are not even spared from this equation. Lyossa adapted Pandross’ use of befouling the heart of mare and their young and placing them at the front as a shield wall. Such desecration of the innocent and wholesome has become commonplace, as though the heart of our world is being cut from us without much of a way to stop it. Run if you can until our Kind can broker peace with her as well.

Bipeds Find Safe Harbor

High Lord Charamot of the House of Gress announced his rejoinder to the King’s edict, spurring his ambition to punish all human for the atrocities of one individual. He has declared his land a safe haven, wishing to give all humans the right they deserve, believing that in them there is our future, as friends and allies. High Lord Gendar, formerly of the House of Cubris-still missing amongst the casualties in the south- shared similar views and was one of the reasons why the traditional Driot was initially overturned.
“The King has send delegate to try and smooth over the situation.” one strong supporter of the King said, “before the land of Gress become overrun with humans seeking amnesty or have his outlandish views plunge us all into civil war. Many of us worry that this is a sight of what’s to come. Lord Charlie, as many of us are calling him, is acting more like a yearling upstart than a seasoned member of the aristocracy. If something don’t change. I fear this will turn ugly.”

Here Ye! Here Ye! Charamont Parts Ways with the King and Closes his Border!

This comes as a strang development; the eccentric High Lord Charamot has broken deliberations with the King’s delegates and is preparing to arm his militia. After, he claimed that this was nothing more than a ploy while the King arranged to move throng of warriors at his disposal to several strategic points along his borders.
The King flat out denies this allegation. He maintain the warriors were sent in to investigate an attack on members of his court traveling to Plynth. The threat, he suspects, was from a group of invaders from the savage lands to the far south who were in league with the bipeds Charamot is so adamant to protect. Out Most Honored Stallion King Dun Drefor wishes for us to be aware that they come here armed and fell upon his loyal subject without warning leaving only one survivor. Among the dead are such notable as Lord Sorrel Guth, his son White Setir, several of their servants, Black Kerth of Delor, Lady Grey Neesel of the House of Fardel. The luck one was Drefor’s advisor, Lady Bay Lotri, who was found weeping, covered in the blood of her companions but otherwise unharmed. Currently she has been given leave to recover from her ordeal and refuses to speak of how she escaped or reveal any more detail about her attackers.
However, the King will not confirm or deny the rumors that one of the invaders was indeed captured and is being questioned about their possible involvement in this heinous crime.
Charamot wishes to pass on his condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this incident.
“It is a truly senseless loss.” Charamot is reported saying, “I do not wish to downplay this tragedy, it was horrific and shall stay with us in our memories. Yet, I must insist that our most noble King in trying to sow the seed of war. He wishes to tarnish my good name and place the blame for his loss squarely on my shoulders. Are we all so blind that we cannot see in these time we, of all races, need to band together. The enemy is out there: Pandross is still on the loose. Lyossa and her minions have cut a path of death and destruction, turning what was once beautiful into a wasteland. We hide, hoping, wishing, wanting it all to go away. Putting faith that they will leave having taken enough from us all and that bipeds, no matter where they are from are to blame will not solve our problems or bring back all the ones we have lost. Biped have lost loved ones too. That is all I will say in this matter and my border will from now one remain closed.”

What the…?

Witness reported a person with a gold face popping up out of thin air near the town of Gerea in the province of Fardel and turing several on-lookers into stone. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the incident but magic was definitely involved. This has happened only days after a rash of hoof and mouth disease broke out only one town over, and a poor farmer had a mansion spring up on his land over night where his hovel used to be.
What is the cause of all this madness?
No one is for sure or how it can be stopped.Should you encounter anyone who looks like this, keep a wide berth. There is no telling what else it can do.

The racing season Postponed

Due to the Duchess League’s inability to locate hoof polish to match their dresses, the opening season has been delayed.
“They are the worst of the premadonnas.” comment Glen of the Fresian Fairies team, who was supposed to compete against their leading stud in the upcoming match.
“When push comes to primping they have a record of delaying a match in lieu of going out in public wearing last’s year’s fashion.” He goes on to say.

Humans Confession Lead to WAR!

In a strange turn of events, the foreigner who has now identified himself as a man named Mikail sought an audience in front of Our Most Compassionate King Dun Drefor and all of the night noble count to confess to the charges of trespass, murder in the highest degree, and attempted insurrection of humankind against centaur supremacy. This news comes only days after a shocking report of High Lord Charamot being throttled in his sleep by a horde of human assassin who plunged to their deaths trying to evade capture in the hours following after the atrocity was discovered.
One inside source claims that this calculated coup is the result of an underground resistance set up by the human filled land that dwell to our south. The King and many of his advisors agree that the risk is too great to be ignored anymore and as much as they desire peace and an end to all the suffering, the human threat must be dealt with.
The King was hard pressed to find answer and relieved that Mikail has decided to be so forthcoming. He has stated that those who live in the south have the ability to poison people’s minds with secret magicks and that is how Lyossa turned to easily to do their bidding. He goes on to further stat that, although he don’t know where, he heard from his biped conspirators that they have Pandross hidden away in safety keep from being brought to justice. It was all that was needed- the final missing piece- to rally all centaurs out of hiding and take up arms.
“We shall not run from biped anymore! The one named Pandross tried to break our spirit but now we shall break his and all of this kind as well!” the king’s chief advisor Lay Bay Lotri publicly announced in support of the kings decision after recovering from the traumatic event that lead to Makail’s capture.
The execution date is set for the new moon of January. Humans will be barred from the proceeding and anyone who tries to gain entrance shall be killed on sight. Centaurs who wish to answer the King’s call-to-arms are requested to be present at the execution so their names can be accounted for and added to the lottery.

Unusual Weather

“Never in our history have we ever had such an odd and drastic change in the seasonal weather patterns.” Farmer Ches Golten told us in an interview. “Two day ago we were under 2 feet of snow and now … the trees are starting to bloom. One might think stuff like this happens every once an awhile but i have never seen anything like this in my lifetime. It isn’t natural to have a head wave in the middle of winter during a blizzard, is it?”
Changes such as these are happening randomly in every territory. Reports of records temperatures causing flash floods only to fall into a deep freeze the next day are making many wonder what is the cause of it all. Some are quick to point fingers and rumors are flying about human being the root of it or dragon or werewolves or a sect of rift worshipping revivalists. Truth is… on on know the cause of the bedlam and doesn’t seem to be letting up anything soon.

The Gold Man Strikes Again!

Another sighting of a man with a gold face has turned up near the mining town of Yohza. A traveler seeking a place to stay for the night walked into the tow to find all of its resident were turned to gold and all of the food was silver. The gold-faced man was sitting at the head table in the tavern using the adjacent gilded villager as a lounging chaing to take a nap and use one as an end table on which to set a plate of food. When spotted, he grew annoyed with the traveler and accused him of being too nosey. The traveler was stuck with a sharp, searing pain all over his face and discovered 50 new noses had sprouted all over his face. This have the gold man enough time to once again disappeared.
