10/19/1010-----Written in a somewhat-scrawled, hurried manner: If anyone has any information, or knows where there is information, about Soul Prisons, please send it my way as soon as you are able, preferably before Black and White? Thank you in advance, Phoenix Rose Dawncry-Nosetti Lady of House Dawncry Elder of House Nosetti Master Scribe and Historian ----- It should be known to anyone helping Phoenix Rose that she may have a Curse Rune that is controlling her. News has reached me that she has imprisoned someone already in a form of Soul Prison. Please use caution when interacting with her. -Magnus Heavyhammer ----- Soul prisons!?! Wow that's not too evil or anything. It also sounds like something a necromancer would use. Seriously though, trapping somethings soul is just plain wrong. There is this little thing called the cycle of life. Woe be to you who interrupts the natural cycle of things. Mekrien Foreman of the Rhiassan Brewery Dragoon Officer of Twilight Society ----- While I'm surprised word about that had carried, please understand that has been taken care of. If you doubt me, well, I understand, but I am but myself again. The request for information is to reverse something that I am not proud of, and want to fix. Thank you, however, for expressing concerns over the flow of information to myself if I wasn't of the right mind. - Phoenix Rose ----- The only time I have dealt with a soul prison, the prison sent the soul to the Well of Lost Souls. Trying to free that soul killed everyone there save one and he eventually died trying to get everyone out. I don't recall how we made it out, but I don't suggest going there (even accidentally which is what we did). From what I understand, things trapped in soul prisons are very hard, if not nigh impossible to free. ~Faelinn ----- Pardon good gentles, I am but a scatterbrained old man, but I have been attempting to catalog some of the old repositories of lore located in the southern portions of the Realms. During a expedition into the area known as the Borderlands, I came upon a passage from the days of empowered Knighthoods. Not much is still written of those days, however it known that individual knighthoods could be granted abilities while in service to their orders. Each knighthood seems to have a different ability that was close to the tenets with which it was founded. Without further digression, I read that the Knights of the Storm possessed an ability to gem cut a type of crystal found close to the Chaos Portals located in the Borderlands. This ability was used to create a soul gem that could be used to imprison a person's soul. This gem was immune to any form of disenchanting or physical destruction for 3 days at which point it would crumble to dust and release the soul back to the owner. However, with out their soul the victim would be "alive" until the end of the gathering then would drop dead. At the next gathering the soul could be called and reattached, but the victim would be one tick closer to true death. It is believed that when the Knights of the Realms and Eternal Flame prohibited all other orders from adapting specific abilities that this art was lost. If any Knights of the Storm remain they would be the ones to inquire with if you have any further questions. Humbly submitted, Gerd De Palah Librarian and Amateur loremaster ----- Soul prisons? Sounds like further revenge on Spear Kid to me. - Kahlenar Swingline ----- If you need to reverse something that you did, and are not proud of ( I am taking a wild guess and assuming that that thing is trapping someones soul in a soul prison) than it has not been taken care of. ~Nos ----- Nos, I was possessed by a Rune: That has been taken care of, though I'm not sure how. All I know is that the Curse Rune itself no longer is attached to me. The matter of having trapped a friend within a soul prison has not. That is what I'm trying to fix. Gerd, That doesn't sound like this...considering that it's been a week, by my recollection. Thank you for that help, though. Kahl, Spear Kid? Faelinn, I need to try, in the very least. I can't just condemn him to this, especially since it is my fault. --Phoenix Rose Dawncry-Nosetti ----- Get that necklace to me at Black and White and we'll see about getting it fixed... For obvious reasons I cannot, at this time, trust you to continue holding onto a vessel that contains the soul of one of mothers children. I hope you understand Gryfinn DarkWillow Kalith'Nos ----- |
