Vision: Who are the Sentinels

She holds the scrying orb and uses her spyglass to peer into it.

"Sentinels grant me your protection and sight. Tell me who you are. Who are the Sentinels -- what is their structure, purpose and their goals."

This is how we appear to mortals when we choose to do so. We exist without physical form but can take such when we wish.

We are watchers. Our focus and what you would call home is Karavynn's native realm, but we can travel and observe across planes, most often with ease, but sometimes with difficulty. There do exist places that are difficult to see.

We are not Celestial beings ourselves, and we strive to remain the silent observers, but we align ourselves with the values of the Celestial realm, and as such may be persuaded to involve ourselves. We did as much when dark forces invaded Karavynn's homeworld, when we intervened to imbue her with Celestial power. She was taken almost immediately to serve Darkness, and so we involve ourselves where her redemption is sought and celebrated.

We only know what we have seen, we have not been called upon to observe events past or concealed, nor do we invade the minds of others. We are not the kind of gods that see and know all, but we turn our attention to that which is relevant to us, and once brought under our purview, we embrace it henceforth under our watchful eyes.
